Michael Robertson Lindell

December 17, 1950 — August 13, 2020

Michael Robertson Lindell, 69, of Angleton passed away at his home with loved ones present, Thursday August 13, 2020 in Angleton. Visitation will be from 2- 4 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2020, at Palms Funeral Home. Masks and social distancing will be required. Mike was born December 17, 1950 in Philadelphia, PA to Dr. Marvin M. & Suzanne Cleeland - Lindell and graduated High School, Church Hill, PA in 1968 and completed his education in Business at Penn State in 1973. He moved to Houston in the early 80's. Handsome and charming with his silver spoon hanging on by a thread, he decided to swallow it and that was a good thing because that silver spoon turned into a silver tongue. Armed with his beautiful heart and above attributes he successfully enjoyed a 25-year long career in the automobile industry. Mike retired in 2009 and purchased a home in Angleton to be near his ailing Mother-in- Law. Mike Lindell was a perfect fit for Angleton and loved it here. He really liked the people and the pace of the town. (you would have thought he grew up here). In Angleton, he found a new love for the outdoors by embracing fishing and hunting. Mike is mostly known here for his private funding of the Angleton Roadhouse, where you could count on seeing him in his spot for every Texan's game before he got sick (he missed that so much). Mike was preceded in death by his Parents, & his brother; Robert Cleeland Lindell. Survivors include his wife Vinita (Bunny) Piper-Lindell, Nephews; Robert C. Lindell, Jr and his wife Alyssa, Dr. Craig W. Lindell and his wife Jacki and 3 -Great-Nephews; Robert C. Jr III, Samuel G. and Mathew J. Lindell. Sister-in-law; Linda Lindell.
