Millard Charles Breckel

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Millard Charles Breckel, 78, a beloved husband, skilled chemical engineer, and cherished member of the Angleton community. Millard was born on September 18, 1946, and he dedicated much of his life to his work in the chemical industry, where he proudly served as a key contributor at Dow/Kelly Services. His passion for engineering and innovation left a lasting impact on his colleagues.

He had a deep personal faith in God and a love for Bible study. He also served as a deacon, twice as a head deacon at the First Baptist Church in Angleton. He also loved serving in the sound booth at the church. He never missed an opportunity to serve.

Millard will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Billie Ruth (Roades) Breckel, who stood by his side throughout their life together. Millard was also survived by his children: Matthew Breckel ("Matt"), (wife, Buffi), Michael Christopher Breckel ("Chris"), and Charles Ervin Richter, Jr., ("Chip"), (wife, Carrie); his grandchildren: Nathaniel Reeves, Sydney Richter, Zane Richter; his brother, Ronald Breckel; his niece, Shella Lipscomb; and nephews: Brian Breckel, Mike Mcclendon, and Roger Mcclendon. Millard will also be missed by his many cherished friends. His warm spirit, laughter, and unwavering support will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. Millard was preceded in death by his parents, Elva and Lucille Breckel, and his sister, Patricia Breckel.

In honor of Millard's life, friends and family are invited to celebrate his legacy at a memorial service to be will held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Angleton located at 972 Anchor Road, Angleton, Texas.

Millard's kindness and dedication to his work and loved ones will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church.
