Monica Benavides

Monica Ramirez Benavides, 51, of Alvin passed away on August 10, 2021. Monica began her journey on this earth on May 26, 1970 in San Antonio, Texas when she was born to Martha and Gilbert Ramirez. She later met the love of her life, Manuel G. "Manny" Benavides and they were married on March 12, 1990 in Bay City. They raised their family in Alvin. Shopping was a fun time for her - especially on Amazon. Monica found great enjoyment cooking for and gathering with family and friends. Family was her greatest treasure and time spent with them was most important to her. Monica is preceded in death by her parents: Martha and Gilbert Ramirez; grandmother Simona Ramirez. Those left to remember her include her husband: Manuel G. Benavides; children: Victoria, Logan, and Anastasia Benavides; sisters: Maribel Ramirez, Marissa Phillips, and Mona Gonzalez; brother: Ray Ramirez; and numerous other family members and friends.
