Nathan Lee Browning

Nathan Lee Browning, age 64, of Angleton, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025 at his home with his family by his side. Born on December 28, 1960, in Freeport, Texas, Nathan lived a life filled with passion, love, and creativity. 

He will be remembered as a devoted husband, cherished father, and talented mechanic. Nathan married the love of his life, Deborah Kay Abshire, on August 11, 1979, in Martinsville, Indiana. Together, they built a beautiful life, welcoming their son, Cody, who became a source of immense pride and joy for both parents. 

Nathan’s love for family was matched only by his passions, which included antique cars and motorcycles, drag racing, and his unique art of barbwire sculpting. Nathan dedicated his life to his work as a mechanic, showcasing his skills and passion for all things automotive. 

He was known for his meticulous craftsmanship and love for restoring classic vehicles, which reflects his commitment to quality and history.

 Visitation will take place at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Nathan's life and share their memories of the remarkable man he was. 

Nathan Browning leaves behind a legacy of love and creativity that will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Deborah, his son, Cody, his sister Linda Browning Pace (husband, Miles) and countless friends and family members.

Nathan was preceded in death by his parents: Henry and JoAnn (Britton) Browning, and his brothers: Jimmy Richards, Taylor Browning, Danny Browning, and Ben Browning.
