Nelda Fae Lewis

Nelda Fae Lewis of Angleton passed away on Friday, February 6, 2015. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Palms Funeral Home. The Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 11:00 am at Holy Comforter Episcopal Church with Father Preston officiating. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Nelda was born the youngest of seven children on October 12, 1928 in Driftwood, Texas to Edward Frank and Fannie Mae Crumley McIntyre. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lewis; parents, four brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by her son, Daryl Wayne Lewis; grandson, Chip B. Lewis (Julie Bailey) great grandsons; Parker Lewis and Rees Lewis. Nelda was a hairdresser for over 35 years and a charter member of the Angleton Danbury Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Holy Comforter Endowment Fund.
