Nellie Beatrice Komlosi

Nellie passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Angleton, Texas. Nellie was born in Madison, Indiana to Rodney and Nellie Maddex.

Nellie married the love of her life Michael in July of 1978. She was a loving mother to Debbie Lee Paz (Joe), Natalie J. Komlosi (John Ducote), Michael Komlosi (Laura Medina), Stephen Komlosi (Buffy), Danette Thomas (Devin Armstrong) and Fred Komlosi (Whitney Hunter).

Family holidays and retirement trips with her husband were events that brought her joy.

Waiting to welcome Nellie to Heaven are her parents Rodney and Nellie Maddex, brother Rodney Maddex and grandson Travis Cisneros.

Left to grieve her absence are her husband, children and numerous friends. Nellie is also survived by sisters Sue Thacker and Jacqueline McCandless, grandchildren Adam, Crystal, Brandon, Valerie, Sierra, Alexandra, Joshua, Emily, James, David, Austin, Christopher, Eddie, Anna Mae, Mariah, Grayson, Caleb, Taylor and Margot. Great grandchildren are A.J., Brilee, Grayson, Addison, Carson, Iris, Jezzalynn, Anais, Titus, Colston, and another on the way.

On Saturday, April 20, 2024, Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas will host public visitation from 10:00 a.m. to noon, with service to follow immediately thereafter.
