Noma Jean West

Noma Jean West, 88, of Rich wood, TX passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at her home. She was born to Willis Ivel and Noma Ann Thomason Browning on September 10, 1930 in Siloam Springs, AR. A Public Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 9:00am in Palms Funeral Home with a Funeral Service to begin at 10:00am. A Graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park. She Married Irvin Eugene West on June 1, 1950 in Bentonville Courthouse, Bentonville, Benton County, Arkansas, they were known as Gene and Jean West. That she was a Baptist by faith and attended the Calvary Baptist Church while living in the Bay City area during 1962 to 1970 She worked at Wal-Mart as the Shoe Sales Clerk for many years. Preceded in death by: her friend and husband Eugene West, parents, oldest brother Willis Browning Jr., brother Jimmie Dean Browning and sister Margaret Mae (Browning). Survived by: Daughter Linda (Mike) Gassen of Brazoria, son Terry Albert West of Richwood, Grandson Michael Wayne Gassen Jr. of Austin and Kerry Eastin West Lopez of Lake Jackson, Great Granddaughter, Taylor Madison Gassen of Austin and 5 wonderful nieces.
