Norma Botello

Ms. Norma Botello was born to Anastacio & Carmen Botello on September 27, 1957 in Laredo, Texas. Ms. Botello passed away Sunday, July 13th at UTMB in Galveston. She had been surrounded by her family & friends. Ms.Norma is survived by her sisters: Ms. Abbie Norton (Del Rio), Mr. & Mrs. Carmen (Ruben) Gutierrez of Del Rio, Ms. Rosie Botello of Laredo, Texas and Mrs. Terry (Alex) Gonzalez of Angleton. Her beloved nieces Ms. Annie (Michael Antu) and their daughter Meredith, Ms. Christina Gutierrez, Ruben James Gutierrez of San Antonio, Mr.& Mrs. Robert Norton of Del Rio, Sergio Gonzalez of San Antonio, Adam & Rey Gonzalez of Angleton. She was Tia Norma to Isaac, Alyanna, Elijah, Paulie, and Anecia Gonzalez of Freeport. There are many wonderful extended family members in Laredo and San Antonio. Ms. Botello dedicated her life and smile to service of church and family. Ms. Botello was an ESL teacher at Northway Baptist Church & helped start the Apartment Ministry work at the Oaks of Angleton. She was an avid volunteer during Vacation Bible School and led bible study groups in her home. Most of all she loved working with the children and had worked at the nursery of 2nd Baptist Church.
