Norma Gale Browning gained her angel wings on March 11th, 2021. Though she loved her children she let them know her final wishes were to join her beloved husband who was called home to be with the lord only a week ago. Norma was born November 25th, 1941, in Smithville, Texas. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to so many. She loved to quilt and made the most beautiful quilts for her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She worked many years at Clute Intermediate as the Cafeteria Manager and touched the lives of the children there and treated them as if they were her own. Norma is survived by children: Terryl and Dana Browning of Lake Jackson, TX; Keith and Tina Browning of Freeport, TX, Marvin and Taunia Browning of Angleton, TX, Chris and Connie Browning of Clute, TX; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, with one on the way and many loved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Weldon Browning, parents, Jessie and Lilly Mae Mitchell, brother Frank Mitchell and wife Janet, and sister Joyce Holder. She will be laid to rest on March 17th, 2021 at Angleton cemetery. Funeral viewing is from 12 pm to 1 pm. The funeral will start immediately after at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, TX.
