Norma Vivian Dodge

Norma Vivian Stacks Dodge, 88, of Danbury passed away on Monday, March 5, 2012 at Angleton-Danbury Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Palms Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Harold Williams to officiate. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Pallbearers are Allen Rogers, Bruce Rogers, Burdette "Bubba" Dodge, Brandon Dodge, Cody and Jason Case. Norma was born January 10, 1924 in Fayette County, Alabama but moved to Woodruff County, Arkansas with her family in 1926. After living in Arkansas and Dallas, Texas she moved to Clute, Texas in 1957 where she raised her children to adulthood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burdette L. Dodge, Sr., her oldest son, Earl Houston Rogers, Jr., her parents, Jesse and Elizabeth Stacks and grandchildren, Elizabeth Genawae Rogers and Anthony Allen Rogers, Jr. Survivors include her children: Geraldine Rogers Moore of Longview, Texas, Steven H. Rogers of Fresno,Texas, A. Allen Rogers of Lake Jackson, Bruce K. Rogers of Angleton, Burdette L. Dodge, Jr. of Danbury, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Norma Dodge is remembered as very caring and always there for her children and grandchildren.
