Orren Joe 'O.J.' Lowe Sr.

Orren Joe Lowe, Sr. Orren Joe Lowe, Sr "O.J.", 86, of Angleton passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at his home. Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Palms Funeral Home Chapel with Jamie Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 at Palms. O.J. was born February 9, 1927 in Ardmore, Ok to Jody & Bernice Embry Lowe He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved to play poker & dominoes and fish frys. He worked and retired as superintendent for M & E of Freeport after 37 years of service. O.J. was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Lowe, his son, Donald Wayne Lowe and brother, Don Lowe and great-grandchildren Chastity Schaefer & Brittany Tumlinson. Survivors include his sons; Butch Lowe & wife Charlotte of Angleton, Gerald Lowe of Somerville & daughter; Sondra Benton & husband Tommy of Angleton. Brothers; Ken Lowe & wife Jennie of Lake Jackson and Wimpy Lowe & wife Betty of Angleton. Grandchildren; Jason Lowe & wife Crystal, Jody Lowe & wife Jennifer Lowe, Toby Lowe, Amanda Tumlinson & fianc, Bradley Schmidt, Nathan Arnold & fianc, Lorri Musser, Tiffany Vollbaum & husband Cody, Tammy Kuchar & husband Doug and Kandi Lowe 17-Great-Grandchildren & 3-Great-Greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be Colby Kuchar, D.J. Kuchar, Toby Lowe, Jody Lowe, Hoyt Lowe & Nathan Arnold Honorary Pallbearers; Wayne Cothron, Bobby Spivey, Joe Olguin, Chester Majors, Snuffy Griffin & Tommy Clawson Special thanks goes out to Grandson-in-law Jayson Tumlinson for his loving care of O.J.
