Patricia Anita Osborn Howe

November 19th, 1954 – April 17, 2025

Patricia Anita Osborn Howe passed through to the arms of her Lord on April 17, 2025 after a courageous (but incredibly short) battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 70 years old. Her loved ones will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest with devotion to their families and friends. She was born on a Friday November 19th, 1954, at Angleton Clinic in Angleton, Texas to Dorothy Bowman and Herbert Clint Johnson.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Myron Dale Howe. Son Steven Thompson, Daughter-in-law Amanda Thompson (Harris). Son Scott Osborn, Daughter-in-law Denise Osborn (Milligan). Sisters, Paula Staggs, Frances Schultz Lewis (Jimmy Lewis), Druscilla Johnson and Giselle Kinsell; Brother, Bruce Howe (Michelle Howe). Six grandchildren, Jenny Humbird, Amber McCormick, Caleb Osborn, Kali Douglass, Brinly Pirtle, and Avery Thompson; special niece, Addison Howe. She also leaves behind eight great-grandchildren Emily Rose House, Colbie Jean House, Nora Kate Humbird, Bryce McCormick, Grant McCormick, Ryan Osborn, Rowan Osborn and Molly Osborn. She also leaves behind her beloved cats Beaux Beaux (Bobo), Whisper, Buster, Dusty, Speedy, and Dave. She will be carried forth perpetually in our memories and in the minds of her future descendants.

Preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Johnson Adams (1981), her brother Herbert Lee Johnson (2004), nephew James Lee Johnson (1961). Her sister Kerry Nijm, husband Edward M Osborn (1997), sister-in-law Patti Howe Oliver (2024), and Brother-in-laws, James Staggs (2024), Don Schultz (2022).

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff at MD Anderson for their devoted care. Services will be handled by Palms Funeral Home in Angleton on Monday, April 21, 2025.  Visitation is from noon to 2:00 p.m., services at 2:00 p.m.; burial will follow at Angleton Cemetery.
