Peggy Lou Cox

Peggy Lou Cox, 85, of Angleton passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at her home. Peggy was born on November 22, 1938, in Marion, Kentucky to J.D. and Dora Ellen (Fowler) McKinney.

Peggy loved her animals, but her greatest treasure was her family and time spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents J.D. and Dora McKinney, husband Darryl Cox, sons: Timmy Lanham and Jason Hahne, brother Jimmy McKinney, sister Janice Gibbs.

Left to treasure her memory are her children: Jackie (Dennis) Farmer of Marion, KY, Dale (Daphne) Lanham of Jones Creek, TX, Greg (Vicki) Lanham of Angleton, TX, Shelly (Billy) O’Bryan of Fredonia, KY, and Linda Dutton of Marion, KY., Siblings: Ruby Driver of Carrsville, KY, Danny (Carolyn) McKinney of Madisonville, KY., twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandhchildren, and six great great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service following at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Palms Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery.
