Penny Lee Oglesby Grimes Penny Grimes, 66, of Brazoria passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday June 28, 2017 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel with Kelsey Granberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-8 at Palms Penny was born September 18, 1950 in Belton, Texas to J.R. & Ada Mae Blakley Oglesby. She moved to Angleton when she was 6 years old and graduated from Angleton High School. She moved to Brazoria in 2003. Penny worked as an Escrow Officer in the Title Industry for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Beth Kattner, brother-in-law Raymond Page, niece Beverly Vetter, great niece, Cheryl Stradley, brother-in-law, Roger Grimes and Father & Mother-in Law, Buddy & Doris Grimes Survivors include her husband, Steve Grimes of Brazoria Daughter Jennifer McPhaul & her husband Clinton of Paige, Texas Sons: Wayne Matheson & his wife Alicia of North Zulch, Texas, Kristopher Grimes & his wife Kristina of Willis, Tx & Damon Grimes & wife Lisa of Brazoria. Grandchildren; Blake & Jamie McPhaul of Paige, Breanne Matheson of North Zulch & Dillon & Zachary Grimes of Brazoria Sister, Kay Page of Angleton Nephews Randy Page & RiAchard Kattner Nieces, Lisa Ferguson & April Smith And many great nephews & nieces Pallbearers will be Henry Kattner, Richard Kattner, Freddie Henderson, Bobby Abshire, Allen Netzel & Tommy Korenek Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Gossett & Johnny Whitt Arrangements by Palms Funeral Home ~ Angleton, Texas 979-849-4343.
