Philip Piper

Andy was born March 9, 1971 in Iowa City, Iowa. He entered Heaven September 17, 2021. Andy Piper grew up in Kalona, IA and attended Mid-Prairie Schools thru the 8th grade. He also served as bat boy, water boy or honorary manager for whatever sport his Dad was coaching. In June 1985, Andy and his family moved to Baton Rouge, LA. He attended Family Christian Academy and he was involved in all athletics available to him, his youth group Crossfire and was a founding member of "the original" FCA crew (and Rolling TP Committee). After high school Andy attended Jimmy Swaggart Bible College. In 1995 Andy moved to Angleton, Texas and got married. Life happens and in 2014 Andy reconnected with his high school sweetheart, Jenny. They were married July 18, 2015. Anyone that knew Andy knows he loved spending time with his family, watching sports (Iowa Hawkeyes, LSU Tigers and the Houston Astros) and having fun. He had a servant's heart, was fiercely loyal and loved helping people. His sense of humor was unique and his laugh was always genuine. Doting PawPaw to Miyah, McKenzie, Messiah, Harvey, LA; Dominic & William, Richwood, TX. Andy will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and of course, his FCA crew.
