Ramona S. Obregon

Ramona S. Obregon, 87, of Rosharon passed away on August 16, 2024. Ramona was born on July 24, 1937, in Brownsville to Fermin and Paula (Abrego) Silva.

Ramona enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved gardening, cooking for and with her family, and was always ready to go on any adventure. She cherished every moment spent with her family; they were everything to her. Ramona was a big believer to push her family to follow their dream no matter how small they were. Out in public she was the elegant, classy lady but at home she was one spitfire that will be forever missed.

Those that preceded her in death includes her husband, Eustacio Obregon; parents: Fermina and Paula Silva; her sons: Ray, John, Ralph, and Alfredo Obregon; and her brothers: Delfino and Silverio Silva as well as a son and daughter in laws and some precious great grandbabies.

Left to treasure her memory are her children: Ernesto Obregon and wife Toni, Hector Obregon and wife Cynthia, Julian Obregon and wife Debra, Sara Greak, and Amelia Obregon and wife Leslie; sister Maria Fernandez, brother Fermin Silva, Jr., and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren; as well as other family members and friends. She was mom or grandma to everyone.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will be Angleton Cemetery and following, there will be a lunch gathering to celebrate Ramona's life with her family and friends at 12:30 p.m. at the home of Marissa and Janise Greak. 507 county road 53, Rosharon TX 77583.
