Raymond Anthony Martinez, 63, of Danbury went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 19th 2018. Public Visitation will be on Friday, December 28th, 2018 at St Jeromes Catholic Church in Clute, TX from 5:00-8:00pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00pm. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00am on Saturday, December 29th, 2018 at St. Jerome's Catholic Church. He was born to Pedro & Odelia Martinez in Ganado, TX on September 15, 1955. He retired from BASF after working 30 years. He was a one of a kind father, grandfather, son, and friend. He loved music and had no trouble bonding with anyone through his jams. He was a lover of sports and the #1 Dallas Cowboy fan, hands down. Raymond was a beautiful soul, always inspiring happiness or hope with his very contagious laugh and smile. He was preceded in death by his father Pete Z. Martinez. Raymond is survived by his mother Odelia, P. Martinez, son Gilbert Morales and wife Gloria, daughters Maurita Martinez and Roxy Martinez, brothers; Kenny Martinez and wife Isabelle, Joe Martinez and wife Diane, and Randy Martinez, sisters; Odelia Martinez, Delores Innabiu and husband Imad, and Erica Barnes and husband Raymorris, and 5 grandchildren as well as numerous other family and friends.
