Refugio "Victor" Leon, Jr., 50, of Danbury, Texas (formerly of Ulysses, Kansas) passed away at his residence on March 19, 2016. He was born October 21, 1965 to Refugio & Martha (Ortega) Leon, Sr. in Alamosa Colorado. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday, March 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father David Zapalac officiating. The family welcomes friends for a time of visitation on Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Victor was a loving husband, father, grandfather and god-father to 30 god children. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Martha O. Leon, his wife of 32 years, Paula (Mendoza) Leon, his sons; Daniel Leon (Jocelyne), Victor Leon and Terrell Leon, his daughters; Melissa Leon (Miguel Padilla), and Alejandra Leon (Sergio Santana) his brothers; John Leon, Javier Leon, Gabriel Leon, Fernando Leon and Pedro Leon, his sisters; Maria Morales and Leticia Escarcega, as well as his grandchildren; Elias, Drayden, Noel, Javian and Giovanni. Victor was preceded in death by his father, Refugio Leon, Sr. and his grandparents.
