Reginald M. Whearley, Jr. Reginald M. Whearley, Jr., 59, of Angleton went to meet his Lord and Savior on the evening of December 13, 2012, ending his fight with cancer. He was born on October 2, 1953 in La Marque, Texas. Reg retired as an operator from Dow Chemical and currently worked at TDCJ Ramsey I Unit. His true passion in life however, was telling people about Jesus. He was the Pastor of the Cool Water Cowboy Church in Angleton and loved and treated his members like his family. He was full of life and laughter. He never met a stranger and always went out of his way to help others. He had a wonderful kind and giving heart and loved spending quality time with his family. He was a genuine Godly man who will be deeply missed by all. Reg is survived by his wife and best friend of 32 years, Kathey Whearley, son, Hunter Whearley, daughter Kourtney Myers and son-in-law Scotty Myers, sisters Sandra Pokluda and husband James and Sharon Renfro and husband Mike. Grandchildren. Makenzie (Kenzinator to PaPa) and Memphis ( Tex to PaPa) Myers and Ava Whearley. Countless nieces and nephews whom he loved and adored. Reg is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Mae Whearley & father Reginald Marvin Whearley of Madisonville. Visitation will be Monday December 17, 2012 at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. . Services will be at Palms on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held at Madisonville City Cemetery, in Madisonville, Tx Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. Pallbearers will include, Jason Lantrip, Jeffrey Warren, Adam Haynes, Keith Foreman, Danny Lea & Mike Barnett. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wade Renfro, Brian Pokluda, Jerry Mitchell, Rick Steed, Roy Harris, Wendell James, Pepper Duruso, Phil Stephenson, Phil Dubose, Ken Winton & Squeaky Cappell.
