Reginald 'Reggie' White

Reggie White, age 63, passed away peacefully with family at his home in Angleton on Monday, November 4th at 4:57pm. Services will be held Friday, November 8th at 6pm with a viewing from 4-6pm at Palms Funeral Home, 2300 E Hwy 35, Angleton, TX 77515. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brazoria County Peace Officer's Association. Reggie was born in Motley, TX on January 29th 1950. He was a loving and devoted husband to Gail Smith of Angleton for 41 years. Survived also by sons Justin of Angleton and Jeff, wife Saskia and grandchildren Dylan and Tehya White, in laws Frank and Ima Jean Smith, brother David, and his little buddy Rio. He is preceded in death by his parents Jim and Charlene White, brother in law Bruce Smith and nephew Brent Smith. He dedicated his life to family, friends and the community. Reggie worked for the Brazoria County Sheriff's Department for 24 years. He never gave up working, whether it was on the job, at home, or at his hunting lease until he was diagnosed with advanced cancer, which he fought bravely. I want to send a special thank you to our daughter in law, Saskia who helped take such wonderful care of Reggie. We love you and will be forever grateful to you. Also a thanks to the A-Med Hospice nurses: Niki, Janice, Anna, Lauren, Angie, and Judy for being so attentive and compassionate with him and for making him comfortable through the last days of his life here on earth. We could not have made it without you. Reggie will be deeply missed and never forgotten by all those that had the pleasure of knowing him.
