Rene Garcia Sr.

On July 9, 2020 Rene Garcia, Sr. walked thru the Pearly Gates of Heaven. Rene was born on April 22, 1952 to Elena Lopez Garcia and Eugenio Lopez Garcia in Alamo, TX. Rene is preceded in death by his parents Elena and Eugenio, his youngest sister Christina Garcia Bernal, his in laws Delfina and Fidel, sister in law Belinda Bailon, brother in law Joe Russell, and niece Erin Russell. Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 47yrs Erma. His three sons Adam and Rene Jr., of Clute, TX, Michael (Jessica) of Lake Jackson, TX, and his precious grandson Logan of Lake Jackson, TX. Rene's siblings Francis Garcia, Clute, TX, Eugenio Garcia of Clute, Hector Garcia of Holland, MI, Rueben Garcia of Lake Jackson, Joe (Hilda) of Holland, MI, Ramon Garcia of Holland, MI, Maria Elena Ipina (Paul) of Holland, MI, Diana Garcia of McAllen, TX, and numerous aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends. A Memorial Service is planned for Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 9:00 am at Palms Funeral Home. A Gathering of Rene's friends and family will be held afterwards at the Garcia-Martinez Family Cemetery on F.M. 523 on Bastrop Bayou in Angleton, TX where Rene's ashes will be spread.
