Renelda Joy Meeks

Renelda Joy Barker Meeks flew away to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 22,2015 at Brazosport Regional Health System after a brief battle with lung cancer. Joy was the first of four daughters born to Vernon and Myra (Little) Barker on February 25,1943 in Angleton Texas. Joy considered being the mother of six one of her greatest achievements and,......." Her children arise up and call her blessed...." Proverbs 31:28 ... Joy is proceeded in death by her father Vernon Barker her mother Myra Little Barker and Corliss Ann Belt. She is survived by her six children Sherri Woodruff (Bobby), Richard Clark, Darla Clark, Rachel Meeks (Robert), Jordan Meeks, and Debra Meeks. Also 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren as well as her sisters Jobelle Weck (Mark), and Kyra Lee James.
