Richard Clarence Bennett

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of (Rick) Richard Clarence Bennett, a loving father, beloved brother, and cherished friend. He passed away peacefully from natural causes on January 27, 2025, at the age of 76.

He is preceded in death by his parents Elfrieda Martha Volkert and Thruman Bennett.

He is survived by his siblings Milton, Larry, Tommy, and Elaine and sons Ricky, Terry, Jimmy, and Steven. He also leaves behind daughter in-laws Rachel and Jennifer and grandchildren Lily, Lydia, Trip, and Rose.

He was a proud veteran and is remembered for his love of the outdoors, his enthusiasm for fishing, and his passion for barbecuing meals that brought family and friends together.

He was loved and will be missed by all.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas.
