Ricky Joe Long, 45, of Angleton passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at UTMB Galveston. He was born on Sunday July 30, 1972 in Russellville Arkansas to Joe and Linda Foster Long. He attended school in Dardnelle Ar. and Angleton. He was a pharmacy technician for 16 years working with Machine Man and Medicine Shoppe pharmacies. He loved to watch Hockey games and was a big fan of the Astros and Texans. Throughout his long illness, he never lost his unique sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Albert Foster of Russellville, Ar., Jack Long of Bossier City, La. And grandmother Bonnita Long of Russellville. Great grandparents Otto and Mattie Foster and Clara Foster of London and Nora McDaniel of Russellville and Joe Coley of Texas. Survivors including his parents are one daughter Keely Rhiannon Long of Conroe, Riley Joe Long, Angleton, and River Miles Long, Magnolia. One brother Ronnie Long and wife, Linda of Clute, niece Brooke Cope and husband Josh along with their two children, Kimber and Reef, & Brigid and Ryan Lindveit. His grandmother, Wanda Foster of Russellville, Arkansas Services will be private.
