Robert Harris Loving

Robert Harris Loving (Bob Loving) entered Heaven with his loving family at his side on September 22, 2023, following a brief illness.

Bob was born on August 13, 1936, in Houston, Texas, and was a lifelong resident of Brazoria County. He retired from the chemical industry after over 30 years of dedicated service and was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Angleton.

Bob was always full of stories gathered from a life of rich and colorful experiences. He never forgot a single detail. He was an extremely humble man who served his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, faithfully and his family selflessly, never considering himself. His faith was reflected in the way he lived his life and in the way he loved and treated people whom he encountered in his life. Truly, a life well lived. "Well done, thou good and faithful servant".

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Loving; his mother, Willie Loving and his sister, Bonnie Beddingfield.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Jackie Loving; daughters, Roni Odom (Don) and Lori Loving (Scott); grandchildren, Brent Odom and Brady Odom; great grandchildren, Grace, Jack and Quinn Odom; nephew, Garry Beddingfield and niece, Suzanne Beddingfield Jackson.

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Angleton and the funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. A private family burial will follow.

Funeral arrangements are provided by Palms Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Angleton Christian School and/or the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
