Robert Prodoehl "Mr. Bob" "The Lawnmower Man" Robert Prodoehl, 89, of Holiday Lakes passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 in Galveston. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Mr. Prodoehl was born August 22, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to George & Alice Prodoehl. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, a retired Machinist and a long time Brazoria County resident. He was preceded in death by his wife Jetty Prodoehl, his parents, his granddaughter, Christen Prodoehl and brother & sister; George & LuElla Prodoehl. Survivors include his sons; Robert "Bruce" Prodoehl & wife Terry of Danbury, Donald "Donnie" and wife Sandra of Angleton, David & Sue Simon of Holiday Lakes. Daughter Cindy Crawford & husband Darrell of Cleveland. Sister, Bernice Campbell of Brookfield, Ill. 10-Grandchildren, 29 Great-Grand Children & 5 Great-Great Grandchildren. In lieu of usual remembrances, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
