Robert Moreno

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Moreno, aged 57, who left us on January 7, 2025, at his home. Born on November 7, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois, Robert spent his life as a dedicated factory worker, providing for his family and creating a lasting legacy of hard work and commitment. 

A loving husband to his wife, LaRae Lentz Moreno, whom he married on September 4, 1993, at the Assembly of God Church in Huron, South Dakota, Robert was also a cherished father to his daughter, Stephanie Moreno. He is also survived by his mother, Elena Castillo Moreno; his brother, Raymond Moreno; and his sister, Yvonne Moreno. His family, including his beloved pets Shadow, Sunny, and Ash, will hold his memory dear. 

Robert had a passion for life that included a love for traveling locally, sightseeing, visiting museums, and a peaceful day spent fishing in his earlier years. Each of these joys helped to define who he was and brought him immeasurable happiness. 

Visitation for Robert will be held at Palms Funeral Home on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local charity that supports workers and their families, reflecting Robert’s commitment to his community. He will be dearly missed but will continue to live on in the hearts of all who know him. 

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Peter Moreno.
