In Loving Memory of ROBERT TODD TAYLOR February 1, 1965 ~ August 10, 2017 Robert Todd Taylor, 52, a resident of La Porte, Texas passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 while out on his evening run. He was the husband of Melonie Renee Taylor. They shared 13 years of marriage, 8 children and 2 grandchildren together. A Public Visitation will be held in Palms Funeral Home from 2-4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. also in Palms Funeral Home. Born in Huntsville, Texas he was the son of Edward and Seareatha Taylor. Todd graduated from Angleton High School. He grew up hunting, fishing, skiing and spending his weekends on the Bayou. He started his work experience learning the family business at Angle-Tex. He worked as a car salesman for many years and his last job being with Apache Oil as a Sales Rep. He was a member of Second Baptist Church Baytown. He enjoyed cooking, dancing and telling stories. He will be remembered for his witty yet sarcastic personality as he was a smooth talking, joke making, tall-tale telling man with a smile and leg kicking dance that had everyone he came into contact with fall in love with him. He will be greatly missed by his family and many dear friends.
