Robert W Beam

Robert W. Beam, 88, of Angleton, Texas passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Robert was born on December 3, 1930 in McComb, Mississippi, to Frank G Beam and Myrtle Smith Beam. Robert was an area resident since 1960. He served in the Army and retired from TDC after 30 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Angleton since 1960 and served as the custodian for 30 years. Robert is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley Elaine Van Norman Beam of Angleton. His son Robert Beam of Henderson. His daughter Sherri Kates, of Spring, and Grandchildren, Lauren Kates and Joshua Kates. Also, his siblings, twin brother, Charles Beam of McComb Mississippi, and Sara Lou Caston of North Carolina, as well as numerous nieces and nephews His infectious smile always made everyone happy. Everyone that came across him loved him, and he loved them. He was a hard-working Family man who loved the Lord. Visitation will be at First Baptist Church of Angleton on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm. Service Details.
