Roberto Castro Calzada

Roberto Castro Calzada, 78, of Angleton, Texas, passed away on August 2, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Juana Castro Calzada, and one sister. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 50 years, Concepcion Campos Calzada; children, Adriana Moreno, Roberto Calzada, Roxana Salazar (Manuel), and Basilio Calzada; grandchildren, Isamar Hayes (Timothy), Julian Calzada, Mariana Calzada, Sabin Calzada, Savannah Salazar, Manuel Salazar, Gabriel Calzada, and Nicholas Calzada; great grandson, Cayson Brownfield, four brothers, and a host of other family and dear friends. Roberto was born on October 29, 1942, in Sabinas Coahuila, Mexico. He enjoyed watching baseball and being outdoors. He was calm, relaxed, and easy to talk to. Strong in his faith, Roberto was an active member in the Angleton Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall. He was mechanically minded and very smart. He worked hard to provide for his family. Roberto was a loving father and friendly to everyone. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A visitation and memorial service for Roberto will take place at Palms Funeral Home, on Friday, August 13, 2021.
