Robin Sue Haines

June 21, 1953 — May 12, 2021

Robin Sue (Cox) Haines, 67, of Angleton, Texas passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 in Galveston, Texas unexpectedly after a recent discovery of advanced lung cancer. Robin began her life journey on June 21, 1953 in Washington, Pennsylvania. On Monday, May 3, 1971, Robin met her soulmate, J.R. They spent the entire night talking and decided that next morning they were going to be married. Four days later, on Friday, May 7, 1971, they were married. They spent 37 wonderful years together before J.R. left us to be with the Lord. J.R. and Robin along with their two children, Bill and Chasity, packed everything they owned and made the journey to Houston, Texas in the late 1970's. Robin worked in the parts department for Harley Davidson for over 40 years, with 32+ of them being at Goe Kawasaki and Harley-Davidson in Angleton, Texas. She was well known and loved in the Harley Davidson Community. She liked to scroll through Facebook - but her favorite thing was cultivating her farm - on Farmville. The passing of Robin brings us sadness and sorrow to our hearts, but the memory of her life will always bring us joy. She can now rest peacefully with her beloved husband. Robin is preceded in death by her husband, Stewart "J.R." Haines, Jr. and her parents, Kenneth and Mary (Coffey) Cox. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her children: William "Bill" Haines and wife Renee, Chasity Haydel and partner Preston Welch; brother: Kenneth Cox II and wife Celia; grandchildren: Rebecca Garner and husband Shawn, Sean Sturgill and wife Brittany, Kimberly Haines, Robin Amber Wanner, Jacob Haines; great grandchildren: Elizabeth Sturgill and Autumn Sturgill. Service Details. Family and friends are coming together online to create a special keepsake. Every memory left on the online obituary will be automatically included in this book. View Tribute Book
