In Loving Memory Of Rodney Allen Polk January 5, 1951 ~ September 16, 2022 Rodney Allen Polk, 71, sadly passed away on September 16, 2022 at his home in Angleton, Texas. Rodney was born January 5, 1951 to Bernard Alvin Polk and Evelyn Louise Polk. He graduated Van Vleck High School in 1970 and was drafted shortly thereafter. After his time in the service he worked in several construction fields and even took up commercial fishing to provide for his family before he settled into his career as a millwright at Phillips 66 in Sweeny, where he worked for about 25 years. In 2017 he retired and dedicated his time to caring for his wife. He leaves behind his children Megan Polk and Robert Polk, his sister Sharon Mautz, as well as many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Gloria, as well as his siblings Harry Polk and Louise Sage. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, October 5, 2022 at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton.
