Rodolfo "Trey" Zelaya

Funeral services for Rodolfo "Trey" Zelaya III, 21, of Angleton, Texas will be Saturday July 29, 2023 at 11:00 am with Pastor Tommy Flores at Primeria Iglesia Bautista de Clute. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday July 28, 2023, at Primeria Iglesia Bautista de Clute located at 151 South Shanks St. Clute, Texas 77531.

Trey was born Wednesday, August 1, 200,1 to Rodolfo "Rudy" Zelaya Jr. and Virginia "Gina" Flores in Lake Jackson, Texas. He attended Angleton ISD K-11 and obtained his GED through Brazosport College. He enjoyed the outdoors, from a child to adult he loved sports, fishing, hunting, dirtbikes, modifying his vehicles, and enjoyed the company of those who he cherished.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Jerry and Virginia Childers, and Samuel Flores.

Trey was called home early Sunday morning on July 16, 2023.

Left to cherish his memories are his siblings Kayla Zelaya Rios and husband Edward. His brothers Isaiah Flores and Christian Flores. Father "Rudy" Zelaya, Mother Gina Flores, and stepfather "JJ" Garcia. Grandparents Tommy and Rosa Flores, Rodolfo Sr. and Estella Zelaya; step-grandparents Joe and Juanita Garcia. Aunts and uncles April and Jacob Powers, Cathy and Martin, Virgilio "Tony" Osorio, and Jose "Carlos" Zelaya, cousins, friends, and mentors.
