Roland "RL" Howard Roland Lewis Howard, 70, of Angleton passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 surrounded by his family at home. Visitation will be held beginning at 10:00 am on Monday, June 11, 2018 with a memorial service by Pastor Jamie Hill at 11:00 am at the Palms Funeral Home Chapel in Angleton. RL served in the United States Marine Corps from 1965 to 1970, where he served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969. He was employed from 1970 to 1985 by DOW OCD II and BASF/LEMM Corp Ammonia Terminal from 1987 to 2017, both of Freeport. RL is survived by his wife; Kathy of Angleton, daughters; Christi & husband JT McCracken of Angleton and Callie Howard of Houston, son; Roland "Bubba" Archie, brothers; Pat Howard of Seadrift and David & wife Patsy of Brazoria, sister; Gloria Hendry of Round Rock, brother in laws; Albert Parten of Angleton and Ret. Lt. Col. Dickie McCleney & wife Sandra of Killeen, grandchildren; Gunnar Mathews of Beaumont; Cannan McCracken of Angleton, Josh Thomas of Angleton, and Jake Thomas & wife Destini of Alvin. Arrangements by Palms Funeral Home.
