Ronald Guinn "Pap" White

It is with great sadness that the White/Winkler families announce that our beloved brother/uncle, Ronald Guinn "Pap" White, age 83, passed away November 28th, 2018, in Clute, Texas as a result of a stroke. He was born August 20th, 1935 in Wilmar, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda White, and his parents, Curtis and Celia White and niece Emily Wise. He is survived by brother Randall White, of North Little Rock, Arkansas; brother and sister-in-law Billy Wayne and Ann White of Little Rock, Arkansas; sister and brother-in-law Peggy and Floyd Winkler of Freeport, Texas. Also survived by loving nieces Randa Darby, Vickie Strain and Terri Winkler and nephews Gary White, Danny Winkler, Curtis White, and Trey Winkler, and also great nieces and nephews. "Pap" worked as a salesman for many years. He enjoyed writing and singing gospel songs and playing the guitar. He served as a Marine from 1953 to 1956. He was a member of North Central Assembly of God Church in Spring, Texas. He loved the Lord and was a faithful servant. His favorite scripture was Ephesians 2:8-10. He volunteered for many years at nursing homes and homeless shelters. Pap was very much loved by his family and friends and he will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 4th at 10:00 am at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. Burial will be at 2:00 pm at Klein Cemetery in Magnolia, Texas.
