Ronald Keith Carter July 27, 1957 ~ May 16, 2017 Ronald Keith Carter, 59, of Danbury, Texas entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at the Houston Hospice in Houston, Texas. Ronnie was born on July 27, 1957, a son of the late Troy and Marguerite Carter. He graduated from Angleton High School in 1975 and attended Southwest Texas State University and Lamar University before beginning work with Dow Chemical Company. He worked in the Freeport Plant for the first nineteen years of his career and has worked for Dow as a pipe designer in Houston, Texas for the last twenty years. He had a strong passion for hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and was mentor to many a young men. He was a great guitar player, singer, and especially enjoyed the blues. Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Marguerite Carter. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Judi Carter, daughters Jerraca Reyes (Gabe Escochea) of Danbury, Texas and Amber Pinkston (Brad) of Dallas, Texas; Grandchildren, Kolton Brockman and Ayden Escochea of Danbury, Texas and Brooks and Piper Pinkston of Dallas, Texas; Brother, Randy Carter of Clute, Texas and sister, Annette "Mo" Houston (Greg) of Montgomery, Texas; Brother-in-law, Jim Baumgartner (Annette) of Spring, Texas and sister-in-law, Joyce Canning (Joe) of Fort Meyers, Florida; Nieces, Rochelle Carter Spates and Rachel Houston; Nephews, Alan Larson, Sean Houston, and Jimmy Baumgartner; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Angleton Church of Christ, 110 Wilkins St., Angleton, Texas 77515. Memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org or to MD Anderson Cancer Center at gifts.mdanderson.org. The family would like to thank all the kind and wonderful staff at MD Anderson Cancer Center. They, with all the friends and family that came to visit, made his last months full of love and laughter.
