Rosalio Hernandez

Rosalio ‘Chale' Hernandez, age 85, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in Angleton, Texas. He was born in Gonzalez, Texas, September 4, 1927. Throughout his life he lived in Eagle Lake, Houston, Fresno and Lake Jackson, Texas. He had a green thumb and was a master gardner until he retired around 1985. He is survived by his children Matilda (Benny) Molina, Adam Cardenas, Lydia (Indio) Carpio, Mary Lujan, Janie (Richard) Rodriguez and Gloria Escobar. His brothers, Ruperto Hernandez and Estevan Hernandez. As well as his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his wife, Maria C. Hernandez, parents, Matilde & Guadalupe Hernandez, and his brothers and domino partners, Panfilo Hernandez, Eulalio Hernandez, Arcardio Hernandez, Guadalupe Hernandez and sisters Marcella Martinez and Virginia Martinez. Pallbearers will be Jon-Erik Garcia, Ryan Garcia, Albert Corona, Richard Lujan, Larry Ramirez and Brandon Saldivar. Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Cordova, Tony Cordova, Danny Hernandez, Michael Lujan and Delfino Ramirez IV. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery Visitation will be Friday evening from 4-8 with a Rosary at 6:00 & Saturday morning from 9-10:30 a.m. Provide comfort for the family by planting a tree in memory of Rosalio Hernandez, please visit our Heartfelt Sympathies Store.
