Rosann Franklin Holder

Rosann Franklin Holder passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 26th, 2024. She was 86 years old. Rosann lived a full and vibrant life from beginning to end and touched the lives of many along the way.

Rosann was born on Oklahoma City but moved to Texas as soon as she could. She lived most of her life in Houston and raised her family there. She taught swimming and coached little league. She was a den mother, room mother, and Sunday school teacher. Rosann worked as a real estate agent and then became an office assistant. She was very active in her church and was a Eucharistic Minister. She enjoyed teaching her children and grandchildren about the Bible. Rosann enjoyed clogging, reading, playing dominos, cards, and mahjong with her friends. She loved shopping and turned shopping for sales into an art form. She was the most loving and caring sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the heart of our family. We are lost without.

Rosann was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

She is survived by her two sisters Shari and Chris, her three children Roger, Benjamin, Laura and stepdaughter Dana, Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren all dear to her heart, and her beloved dog Ellie Mae.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Palms Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with the Rosary beginning at 6:00 pm. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 11:00 am at Palms Funeral Home. 

Rosann will be remembered for her loving heart and her kind soul.
