Rupert "Jack" Jackson Cooley, Jr., 64, of Brazoria went to be with his Lord on Monday, April 30, 2012. Jack was born September 16, 1947 in De Ridder, Louisiana to Rupert & Shirley (Neal) Cooley. He was a member of the Phillips Recreation Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Mary Ellen Bartz and Sue Riley. He is survived by his loving wife, Anita Cooley of Brazoria, TX; daughter, Brittany Cooley of Plano, TX; sons, Brad Cooley & wife, Alicia of St. Louis, MO, Brian Cooley & wife, Robin of Ocean Springs, MS and Brandon Cooley & wife, Katie of Friendswood, TX; brother, George Cooley & wife, B.J. of Angleton; sisters, Ennise Richardson of Oklahoma City, OK and Ruby Adams & husband, Eddy of Lake Fork, TX; grandchildren, Brooke, Bryn, Bralee, Audrey, Ella & Evan Cooley; sister-in-law, Jeanie Warren & husband, Tommy of Mississippi; brother-in-law, Kelly Fortenberry & wife, Becky of Mississippi; special nephew, Frank Riley & wife, Liz. Also would like to mention Brandon Ladewig and Chris Newmann and numerous family members and friends. A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. Interment will be in Marlin, Texas at a later date.
