Ruth Beatriz Damian

Ruth Beatriz Damian, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and business owner, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, at the age of 89 in Angleton, Texas.

Ruth was the proud owner of Ideal Cleaners in Angleton, Texas since 1979, where she dedicated herself to her community and worked tirelessly alongside her family. Her hard work and determination were a reflection of her love for others and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures.

Ruth’s passion for her family was evident in everything she did. She cherished watching her grandchildren’s sporting events, and nothing made her happier than spending time with her loved ones. Ruth enjoyed cooking, traveling with her husband, watching the Houston Astros, and creating memories with her family.

She leaves behind her loving husband Guadalupe Damian Jr. and four children: Mandy Brigham (George), Diane Martinez (Danny), Guadalupe Damian III (Mary), and Elizabeth Dominguez. Ruth was also a proud and loving grandmother to 15 beautiful grandchildren: Elaine Lara, Stephanie Yanez, Valerie Macias, Dolores Garcia, Debra Martinez, Denise Ramirez, Albert Peña, Chris Peña, Kimberly Cruz, Danielle Damian, Eric Lopez, Nicholas Lopez, Melody Garza, Natalie Garza, and Victor Dominguez. She is also survived by a host of 20 great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Julia Juarez; her son, Oscar Garza; and her daughter, Annie Marie Damian Lopez.

To honor her memory, the family invites friends and loved ones to join in visitation at Palms Funeral Home on Tuesday March 25, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A burial service will be held the following day Wednesday March 26, 2025 at 1st Presbyterian Church in Angleton, Texas at 10:00 AM.

Ruth’s kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and community will forever be remembered. May she rest in peace.
