San Benito Montalvo Jr.

San Benito Montalvo Jr., 80, passed away peacefully at his home in Angleton Tuesday, November 12, 2012 surrounded by is family. San Benito Jr. was born on October 31, 1932 in San Benito, Texas to San Benito Sr. and Lilly Maria Montalvo. He retired from Dow Chemical Company after 28.5 years of service. He was a Member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton. He was a member of Knight of Columbus. San Benito Jr. enjoyed fixing small engines and automobiles. Also enjoyed helping people with there yard work if they were unable to care for their yards. San Benito Jr. served in the Untied States Air Force as a Navigator San Benito Jr. was preceded in death by his Parents, San Benito Sr. and Lilly Maria, brother , Gilbert Montalvo, wife, Marjorie Cecille . He is survived by his Children, Jacqueline McEathron, Marilyn Craig and husband Lee, San Benito Montalvo III and wife Lisa, Rene Montalvo and wife Diana, Elizabeth McRae, Earl Anthony "Stoney" Montalvo, and Theresa Cecille Montalvo; Sister , Dahlia Delgadillo and husband Alfonso; Twenty one Grand Children and 23 Great-grandchildren . Funeral services will be held Friday, November 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Angleton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Craig, Sonny Lander, Matt Craig, San Benito Montalvo, IV, Austin Montalvo and Earl Montalvo, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Evan McEathron, Justin Montalvo, Joshua Montalvo, Stephen Montalvo, Taylor McRae' and Reece McRae'. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. Provide comfort for the family by planting a tree in memory of San Benito Montalvo Jr., please visit our Heartfelt Sympathies Store.
