Santiago Diaz (68) of Angleton Texas passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023, with his family by his side. He was born on December 17, 1954 in Los Ebanos, TX to Ascension Diaz and Zoila Diaz. Santiago lived the majority of his life in Angleton, TX. He was a carpenter by trade that took pride in his work. Through his skill and positive personality, he brought joy and uplifted many people's lives. Santiago loved Tejano music and expressed himself happily on the dance floor. Every Sunday he enjoyed fellowship at the Most Holy Trinity Church. Most importantly he was a family man and a very good friend. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved his brothers, sisters, children, and grandchildren with all his heart. Santiago was a very caring, loving, funny, and a lively man. Consider yourself lucky to have known him and to have had him in your life. He was one in a million and such a wonderful soul that impacted our lives forever. He was preceded in death by his wife Araceli Diaz, Ascension Diaz (Father), Zoila Diaz (Mother), Cira Diaz (Sister). Santiago is survived by his Son; Brian Diaz, daughter; Elizabeth Lipscomb, brothers; Francisco Diaz, and Juan Diaz, Sisters; Yolanda Diaz, Martina Garcia, Paula Moralez, and his two grandchildren; Lisa Kopycinski, Natalia Diaz, and Step grandchild; Beretta Evelyn Alice Garcia. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday 5, 2023 from 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, TX. Services for Santiago Diaz will be held on, Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 1:00 p.m at Most Holy Trinity Church in Angleton, TX. Burial will follow at Angleton Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his wife. Service Details.
