Santos Valdez, Jr. 64, of Angleton passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018 in Houston. He was born to Santos & Rose Valdez, Sr. in Angleton, TX on May 7, 1953. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, March 26, 2018 from 4-7:00 pm in Palms Funeral Home. Funeral services are set for Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 10:00 am also in Palms Funeral Home. Santos was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He never met a stranger and his family was always growing, because you didn't have to be blood to be part of his family. He could always make you laugh and joke around. He loved to ride motorcycles, fish, and as a Ship Captain he saw the world and enjoyed the water. He was preceded in death by his father & brother Richard "Bones" Valdez. Santos is survived by his wife of 22 years Sheryl Valdez, children Nicolle "Audra" Valdez & Cody Milligan, siblings; Mary Lou Vickery and husband James "Slick," Christine Valdez, Gloria Gutzman, Rose "Rocky" Valdez, Josephine Banda, Lupe Valdez, Pete Valdez and wife Becky, Art Valdez & Gerald "Prestos" Cacino, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who cared for him at Methodist Hospital. A special thank you, Dr. Attar, for giving us 21 years more than what we thought we had.
