Sara Margaret Baker Keenom was born on December 7, 1976 in Freeport, Texas. She was survived by her parents Thomas & Margaret Baker of Angleton, her loving husband Daniel Keenom, son, Austyn Keenom of Angleton & her sister Neva Jackson, husband Kyle & niece Bryanne of Livingstonn, Texas as well as many family members. Sara passed from this Earth on March 29, 2021 in Galveston, Texas. Sara was first a servant of God. She never met a stranger and was always happy to serve God in any way called. Sara went on several mission trips outside of the US. When Sara was at home, she was always helping others: fundraising for churches/causes, or just helping friends and family who needed it. Sara's first job was sharing God's love, and she always did it with pure joy in her heart. Her second job was family. She was a dedicated daughter, sister, and wife. Sara always made time to see her parents & sister and was the first to help when the need arose. At age 17 she met the love of her life, Daniel Keenom. 3 years later they were married in Danbury, Texas and their adventure started. They loved making memories with family and would often take their nieces Paige & Lauryn for sleepovers. 12 years after marriage they received the greatest gift, Austyn. Sara was the most dedicated mother. She worked at his preschool, volunteered for everything she could, & even went to church camp with him. As Austyn got older, they began taking trips such as camping & floating the river. This past year in January Sara & Daniel made beautiful memories in Italy. Sara lived life to the fullest and tried to make sure everyone else did too. Lastly, Sara was a friend. It didn't matter if Sara barely knew you or she had been your friend for many years, she was always there. She was there with a smile on her face and laughter that just bubbled out of her. If her friend had a problem, her first reaction was to pray for you. If more than prayer was needed, Sara could conjure up an army to help. In Matthew 5:14-16 says, ''You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on a stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine among men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father, in heaven." That was Sara, the light of the Father to the whole world.
