Shirley Ann Beaty

Shirley Beaty, 78, of Angleton passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013 in Webster, Texas Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rodney Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-7 at Palms. Shirley was born April 14, 1935 in Gilmer, Texas. She was a long time Angleton resident, graduate of Angleton High School and member of 2nd Baptist Church of Angleton. Shirley was a proud volunteer of the American Cancer Society, former President of the Angleton Grandmother's Club, member of the Angleton-Danbury Hospital Auxiliary and dedicated volunteer at Southside Elementary School library and teacher's aide. She was preceded in death by her Mother & Step-father; Ahlene & Claude Crocker and her sister, Bettye Jane Roberson. Survivors include her husband P.J. Beaty of Angleton, her children; James E Peterson & his wife Deborah, John W. Beaty & his wife Terry & Gail L. Williams all of Angleton, Glenn R Beaty of Pearland and Carol S. Todd of Kingwood. Grandchildren; Heath Peterson of Nacogdoches, Amy Gregory of Katy, Blake Williams of Freeport, Bethany Williams of Angleton, Laurissa Beaty of Sheridan, Kyle Beaty of Pearland, John David Busch of Houston, Steven Mayon of Kingwood & Jennifer Cougan of Angleton 6-Great-Grandaughters & 8 Great-Grandsons. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the Military Mom's & Wives' of Brazoria County.
