Shirley Ann Estes

Shirley Ann Estes, 73, of Angleton, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sybil and Levis Sterling; husband, Raymond Estes; parents-in-law, R.A. and Anna Lee Estes; and sons, Eric Wayne and Jonthan Estes. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Anthony Estes and wife, Trudy and David Estes; daughter, Sybil Ann Estes; grandchildren, Stephanie Alsobrook and husband, Sean, Lisa Cox and husband, Alfred, Kayla Estes, David Estes and wife, Sarah, Daniel Estes, Sarah Poppinga and husband, Robert, Jillian Estes, Joselyn Estes, Brylee Estes, and Travis Weatherly; great grandchildren, Justin Alsobrook, Shelbi Alsobrook, Kase Alsobrook, Konnor Nickson, Savannah Estes, David Estes, III, Tayden Estes, Makyel Cox, and Robert James; cousins, Ronnie Hebert, Martha Lee Blanchette, and a host of other family and dear friends. Shirley was born on May 18, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan. She enjoyed cooking, watching cooking shows, and even had her own cookbook collection. In her spare time, she liked to watch TV and eat sweets. Shirley was the most loving and giving person you could ever meet. She had a truly beautiful soul and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation and service will take place at Palms Funeral Home, Angleton, Texas, on Thursday, August 22, 2019. The visitation will begin at 9:30 am and continue until the Rosary at 10:30 am.
