Shirley Diane Brooks

Shirley Diane Whitworth Brooks passed into eternal life, Friday, October 2, 2020 at her home in Danbury, TX. Her loving daughters and granddaughter were by her side. Shirley was born December 13, 1946 in Clarksdale, MS to Adeline Herring and Merel Whitworth. Shirley lived her life between Mississippi and Texas. With her boundless personality, she brought joy and laughter wherever she went. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, brother and her beloved son, Glenn Brooks Jr., who passed away June 21, 2020. Shirley's surviving family members are Kappy (Buddy) Avant, Tricia (Brian) Williamson, Brent (Hope) Brooks, nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
