Stephen Gray Allison, born on October 27, 1950, will be remembered as a loving husband, father & grandfather, skilled carpenter, and adventurous spirit. He passed away on March 4, 2024.
A true Texan at heart, Stephen has been a resident of Brazoria County since 1976, bringing his hard work and passion to his community. Although born in Pennsylvania, he found his place alongside his beloved wife, Ronda (Moore) Allison, whom he married on February 8, 1985 at Calvary Baptist Church. Together, they shared 39 years of cherished memories.
Stephen was known for his dedication as a deacon at Greater Heights Baptist Church and his craftsmanship as a master carpenter. He found joy in sailing sailboats, hitting the golf course, and once had a love for flying small aircraft. Throughout his life, he owned several businesses and traveled extensively for work, leaving a mark with his skills and infectious spirit.
Left to cherish Stephen’s memory is his loving wife, Ronda Allison, his children: David Allison (Jamie), Stephen Allison (Rica), and Jarrett Harvey (Heather), his siblings: David Allison (Debbie), and Linda Anderson (Don), his grandchildren: Riley Mattern (Troy), Keaton Bennight, Max Allison, Meiah Allison, Gavin Allison, Kaleb Allison and Jillian Harvey. Also left to cherish Stephen’s memory are his great-grandchildren: Paisley, Boston and Annie Mattern.
Those preceding Stephen in death are his parents; David and Dorothy (Gray) Allison, and his daughter, Danielle Bennight.
The funeral services for Stephen Gray Allison will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Greater Heights Baptist Church, where Pastor Jeff Lege will lead the congregation in celebrating his life.
