Stephen Wayne Ward passed away in his home in Liverpool, Tx on Thanksgiving Day November 25, 2021. Stephen Was Born May 20, 1971 in Palestine, Tx to Elaine Ward Blanchard and Teddy Ward. Stephen's Passion was motors. He loved racing cars and anything with a motor. His nickname was "Motorhead" and could make most anything run again. He had a heart of gold to help anyone that needed help. He also had a love for animals and during hurricanes he would go through the neighborhood feeding and helping animals that were stranded by flood waters. Stephen was baptized with his Dad and Brother in Palestine years ago. Stephen worked as a pipefitter, boilermaker, City of Liverpool and owned Ward Racing and Repair until he became disabled from a back injury. He is survived by his mother, Elaine Ward-Blanchard and Stepdad Marty Blanchard, brother Richard Ward and wife Brandie, uncle and aunt, Bob & Cindy Cretsinger, nephews; Kyler Ward, Gavin Ward, Taylor Scott and wife Jordyn, great niece Gracie Scott. Stepsisters; LaTosh Ford and Tammy Blanchard. Stepmother, Rinda Ward & stepbrothers, Trey Munsey and Jason Otto. Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Teddy Ward, grandparents, Wallace and Dorothy Cretsinger, T.R. & Virginia Ward, uncle, Jerry Ward, along with many family members. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Danbury Park, Danbury Tx. Burial at Broyles Chapel Cemetery, Palestine, Tx. In lieu of remembrances, memorials can be directed to Liverpool Fire Dept. or Westside Volunteer Fire Dept. P.O. Box 1974, Palestine, Tx 75802. Stephen loved riding the Fire Truck with his Pop.
