Susan Kay Mathews

Susan Kay (Sanford) Mathews, 72, of Angleton went to be with her family in Heaven on March 11, 2022. Susan was born February 18, 1950 in Michigan to parents Milton Clark and Mary Ann (Sylvest) Sanford. She grew up in Lake Jackson, Texas and moved to Angleton in 1972 and raised her family here. Susan was a Registered Nurse and worked at Angleton/Danbury Hospital in Labor and Delivery for over 31 years. Susan enjoyed helping others and spending time with her children and grandchildren Those that preceded her in death include parents Milton and Mary Ann Sanford, sister Peggy Ann Hill, and father of her children Jackie Allen Mathews. Left to treasure her memory are her children Marc Allen Mathews and wife Dana, Tammy Sue Brandly; grandchildren Jordan Murphy Mathews, Sierra DaMar Mathews Busch, David Allen Mathews, and Kimberly Ann Wagner; great grandchildren Dahlia Ann Rose Busch, Jayden and Hayden Wagner and numerous other family members and friends.
